Personal Investor Coaching
I knew I wanted to work with people and be self employed. I have always had a strong desire to be in the real estate business, but I didn’t know what to do or how to do it. I bought into many “late night guru” money making courses. None of these programs taught me what I needed to know to do a deal. Nor did they care if I succeeded. They were all huge disappointments. How did Mary Kay find ForeclosureS.com? I searched the web! And boy, my ForeclosureS.com experience was completely different. Their courses provided the actual skills and tools that I needed, and that were not addressed by anyone else. The proven tools I learned included the use of principles and practices when making personal contact with the owners. I now listen more intently when an owner is speaking (and do not form an opinion) and so I quickly gain the respect and confidence of my clients. In addition to my new found “people skills,” I learned hands on estimating of repairs, how to write contracts, how to deal with title and escrow companies how to create my rehab team and so much more. Most importantly, ForeclosureS.com taught me the importance of integrity and of insuring each homeowner that they are my primary concern. Contrary to what the “gurus” preached, every contact is NOT about making money. It’s about helping someone in need, while determining the best course of action for everyone involved. How did Mary Kay do? I did my first deal 28 days after completing Alexis’ 3 Day Lab. After the Lab, my goal was to do 3 deals in the first year. I met that goal within 4 months. My second year goal was to buy 6 houses. I actually did more than 20 deals during my first 2 years in the business. The Thursday Night Lab Dinners After leaving the Lab I didn’t know anyone in the business to talk to when faced with various situations that arose. I knew I couldn't contact ForeclosureS.com every time I hit a bump in the road. So I asked Alexis if I could meet with the Lab attendees for dinner, so I could bounce ideas off them and form alliances. After those dinners, Lab graduates would often call me for private coaching help. At first, it was easy. We would talk, I would help them fine tune things a bit, and they would close deals. It was great! But now it has grown to a level that I cannot maintain by myself. That is when I approached Alexis. I recommended ForeclosureS.com create a Special Coaching program for those Lab graduates who got “stuck” from time to time. They could use someone who really knew the business (as Alexis teaches) that they could call and count on for help. Why become a ForeclosureS.com Coach? The ForeclosureS.com Coaching Program provides me the opportunity to work one on one with a small group of Lab grads and help them achieve their dreams and goals. It is a wonderful experience to watch another person grow in this business and know that I had a hand in their success. Coaching also provides me with personal growth opportunities. My education and thought process must continually evolve to a higher level of understanding of the business in order to benefit the program. I also love the fact that being a Coach means I am in continual contact with one of my greatest mentors, Alexis McGee. What are Mary Kay’s Goals Now? I plan on doing two deals a month in 2006 and keep one out of every four deals for residual income. Plus I see myself Coaching ForeclosureS.com Lab clients as long as I'm in the business -- and I don't plan on ever leaving! I truly believe that greatness can be achieved by any Investor who so desires -- as long as you stay focused and full of passion with what you do. MK |
