Sarah Garlick
Coach and Instructor
Once upon a time in a life far, far away (thankfully), I sold equipment
for a medical company. I worked in the operating room teaching doctors
to use our equipment. Five years on the road burnt me out before the end
of my twenties. My job offered no light at the end of the tunnel.
So like most single twenty-somethings with a good job, I went on vacation
with some friends. But unlike most, when I got home I decided to change.
Whose dream was I building; mine or someone else's?
Building My Dream
I began researching real estate investing. There were a lot of gurus who
claimed they could teach me the ins and outs, but there was one that was
obviously the Gold Standard,
ForeclosureS.com
. Their information was clear, concise, honest, ethical, and very complete.
I ordered their
Mastering Home Study Course
.
As I lapped up the information in the home study course, I quickly knew
I needed to work under my mentor, Alexis McGee's, eyes. I enrolled as a
student in her
Hands-On Lab
. Because of the research I had done on other "Gurus," I knew there was
no one else offering to work in person with a limited number of students.
Mine was the last Lab of 2002.
The Rest is History.
Real Estate Investor Success
My first year was tough. I was working full time for someone else. But
I was determined and allowed NO excuses! My goal was to do one deal per
quarter in 2003. I did it! Those deals' profit matched my six figure annual
income from my
real job
.
Persistence and Tenacity were all I needed. My real job was taking time
away from active investing. It was costing me money! I quit and have been
working as a full time real estate investor ever since.
But here's the best part:
-
In both 2004 and 2005 I worked six months and took the rest of the year
off.
-
I made MORE money on those deals than I did working a full year in corporate!
-
I helped people who really needed me.
-
I made a great living and enjoyed life.
I lovingly call myself the "lazy investor." The truth is, I am a big fan
of working smarter not harder.
Many profitable years pre-foreclosure investing gradually transitioned
to Trustee Sale Auctions. I currently buy, fix and flip properties I buy
at auction. In 2010 I flipped almost $4,000,000 dollars worth of real estate.
My business is continuing to grow and becomes more lucrative every year.
The deals are funded with millions of dollars of private investor money
I have raised. My investors make an outstanding rate of return meaning
a win-win for myself and them.
The Rewards of Being an Instructor and Coach:
It is impossible to experience the kind of blessings my life has given
me and not want to give back. There is no greater reward than to know that
I have made a difference in someone's life. I know
Alexis McGee
,
Daryl White
,
Michal Ballard
and I have all had mentors, instructors and coaches who helped us along
our path. By teaching investors in my
hands-on 2-day Auction Investing Lab
I honor the people who helped me achieve mine.
It is a great privilege to help Foreclosures.com students reach their
investing goals. I can’t wait to help you create the kind of life for yourself
and your families have always wanted. I look forward to helping you work
smarter not harder in 2011 and beyond!
Enjoy life… this is not a dress rehearsal!
