An Interview with another Foreclosures.com client:

What line of work you were in before foreclosure investing? Restaurant Owner

When did you first start in real estate or foreclosure investing? September 2003

What gurus you took before Foreclosures.com and what did you learn? Too many to list

When did you come to Foreclosures.com? Completed the Home study and Lab and started lists in August 2003

Since beginning with us what have you done? 1st transaction was 28 days after Lab class. Signed two more before 12/2003 and remodeled two of those. 9 more during the next 10 months. Did not do work on those, but sold contract to another investor. A couple of those were LARGE assignment fees due to the acreage of the property. Contracted three since 1/2005. Now working on remodel (Belden, with me paying assignment to another Foreclosures.com lab student!) one vacant lot I'm building a spec home on, and one just to assign out again. Attorney now drawing up contract that will close 4 more from one seller. Total to date 15... secure with the contract for verbalized....so 19 in 19 months. Not a bad record.

What would you do differently now, looking back as to starting your business? NEVER partner with anyone you have not done business with before and know their true intent within the scope of the foreclosure business.

Any words of wisdom for the new folks? ZIP IT when the client is talking. Think out of the box; be creative and format your language and information to fit your personality.
