This deal began with the neighbor walking the phone over to the owner's house, knocking on his door, handing him the phone and telling him "here, this guy needs to talk to you." After a good initial conversation however, the owner went back into hiding. We knew he really needed help so we continued to leave notes and messages, and when it came down to the wire he called us and said he wanted to sell the house!
Despite the fact that someone else offered him $10,000 more, he signed with us because we had showed him we actually cared about him and not just his house. In the end, he walked away with over $250,000!!
The house starting out as a total mess (I think a total of 5
truckloads went to the dump!), repairs came in right at budget and we
