Missouri is primarily manufacturing state. Transportation equipment, aeronautics, chemicals, publishing and beer are all significant industries. Missouri also has the second largest total number of farms in the country, and its top agriculture products include livestock, pork, poultry, dairy and soybeans. There is also tremendous mining wealth in the state, particularly from coal, lead and zinc. Although it is home to two important cities—St. Louis and Kansas City—Missouri generates comparatively little tourism.
