Everyday new subscriptions are pouring in. I am getting phone calls from old and new acquaintances commenting on the first new issue or asking for a certain topic to be covered in the future.
We've already addressed a few of these ideas in this issue. Alexis has written on a new non-profit organization that offers a program to help you sell your properties. The Nehemiah Progressive Housing Development Corporation, Inc. has a way for you to pay the points for your buyer on a FHA loan. We've personally benefited from this program and know it can help you.
Bruce Norris shares another excerpt from his book, California Comeback. If you have not yet bought a home for yourself, this story offers some excellent advice on when, where and how to go about purchasing real estate.
Mike McBee believes women have an advantage in the property buying business. He feels men can learn something from the way the other sex uses the phone. Mike has been beat up recently by female phone pros. He always learns from his error and is willing to share his latest lesson.
We've brought Pirate Comps back this month. Pirate comps is a feature that lists some of the properties bought at the trustee's sales last month. Unfortunately, we are yet to find a good source for this data in Southern California, so we only have Northern California sales listed.
Trustee's sales are heating up. This is a good chance to see what is happening at the sales. I would like to thank Dataquick, Property Pro CD for making this report much easier than in the past. Their software sure makes valuing property quick and easy. In future issues we will have statistics that shape the future of our market.
Let me end by apologizing for not having an August issue. No one wanted to advertise without getting some read on the success of their July ad. I am happy to report the response to the advertisements has been exceptional. We actually had an advertiser quit his ad because he was overwhelmed with the responses.
If you have a topic you want covered or stories you want told, call, email, or fax me. Enjoy.
